Below are thumbnails representing pictures that I took during June of 2000 while I was in the area. There are captions describing each picture with a link to a larger version should you want a better look.
I did this to record where I came from. It was something that I felt I needed to do. I doubt anyone will enjoy them as much as I will. However, please feel free to contact me my e-mail address should you have any comments and/or questions. Thank you.

This is the lone remaining original hallway in the Callender school. I roamed this hallway for all of my elementary school years. It originally led to the playground. The first door on the right was my third grade classroom. |
This was Mrs. Bailey's third grade classroom when I was in third grade. She was not my teacher, but I thought that a picture was necessary. |

This is a picture of the basketball hoops that the kids played on. Even kids from Gowrie played there on the weekends. The hoops were short, so when we got tall enough we could dunk the ball. I used to imitate Michael Jordan on these hoops and practice all sorts of different dunks. |

This picture is of the time capsule that we did in 1976. I was in the sixth grade then. I don't remember what I put in there. It probably was not important. |
