Acting

I have taken some acting classes in Omaha when I lived there at the Omaha Community Playhouse. I enjoyed them a lot. This is something that I have wanted to do for some time now. I have yet to take the next step which is get some photos and resume done to start the audition process. I have always wanted to work in the movies. It is not for the fame and glamour, but the ability to portray a character in such a way that the audience believes you as that character. Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Jessica Lange, Sally Fields, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Frank Sinatra, Al Pacino, Glenn Close, Sidney Poitier (sp?) are among those with whom I consider to be great actors or actresses. They all research their roles to the point of interviewing people, seeing the habitat in which their character lived or would live. I prefer drama to comedy. Comedy involves a lot of timing and possibly physical comedy.

Volleyball

As for volleyball, I prefer the two person sand volleyball.  I am an avid fan of the professional beach volleyball. In particular I follow the Association of Beach Volleyball. This is a two-man beach volleyball league.

College Football

College football has been a passion for me as well. Of course I follow the Nebraska Cornhuskers to a fault.  I do follow other teams and don't hate any team just because they beat Nebraska.

Hockey

Hockey is a sport that I have grown to love. I am a big Boston Bruins Fan of the NHL. I have followed them as long as I can remember.

Baseball

I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan.  I am a life long sufferer when it comes to the Bosox.  Someday, they may win a World Series while I'm alive.  Who knows.  I have read a lot of books on the history of baseball.

Basketball

I have followed the Boston Celtics since the early 70's, even through their lean years in the late 70's.  I done a lot of reading about the franchise history.
